Business Summary
Orpheus Energy Limited, formerly Australian Motor Finance Group Limited (AMFG), is engaged in coal mining. The Company was formerly involved in the provision of motor finance. However, in October 2009, the Company reported that it had entered into a Framework Agreement (FA) for the reconstruction and relisting on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). The reorganized company was renamed Orpheus Energy Limited on November 30, 2010. The FA involved the acquisition of a portfolio of coal and minerals projects from several vendors, the acquisition of Orpheus Energy Group Pty Ltd, among others. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, the Company did not trade but was engaged in the arrangements associated with the implementation of the FA. As at June 30, 2011, the Company was prepared with the remaining arrangements required to achieve relisting on ASX.

BRIEF: For the six months ended 31 December 2011, Orpheus Energy Ltd's revenues increased from A$1K to A$59K. Net loss increased from A$206K to A$6.6M. Revenues reflects an increase in income from Australia and Indonesia segment. Higher net loss reflects an increase in finance cost and a presence of administration expenses, consultancy and professional fees, employment and related costs, insurance expenses, legal expenses, depreciation, etc,.
