Business Summary
Drillsearch Energy Limited is engaged in oil and gas exploration, development and production. The Company operates in three segments: Oil, Wet Gas and Unconventional. On December 23, 2010, the Company acquired all of the remaining Queensland petroleum interests. On September 7, 2010, it acquired interests in four Wet Gas discoveries from Bandanna Energy Ltd with additional two trillion cubic feet Contingent Resources in the core Cooper Basin Western Flank Oil Fairway and Gas and Liquids Projects. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, it acquired Circumpacific Energy (Australia) Pty Ltd. In February 2011, it sold its three Gippsland Basin Permits. On January 31, 2011, it sold its 2 % Naccowlah Block joint venture interest and associated exploration permit ATP 259P. In November 2010, it sold its 79.37% interests in Circumpacific Energy Corporation (Circumpacific) and purchased its interest in the eight exploration tenements, the South West Queensland Block, from Circumpacific.
