Business Summary
Viridis Clean Energy Group (VCEG) is an Australia-based company. VCEG is engaged in investing in and managing a global portfolio of clean energy assets. VCEG’s investment focus is on assets that generate electricity or other consumable energy from renewable, waste or inherently low-emission energy sources, including wind, hydro, biomass, geothermal, solar, waste fuel, coal seam methane and natural gas. VCEG consists of two stapled Australian registered managed investment schemes, Viridis Clean Energy Trust I (VCET I) and Viridis Clean Energy Trust II (VCET II). On November 26, 2009, the Company sold its interest in its 82 mega watts German wind farm portfolio. On August 19, 2009, VCEG acquired Viridis Energy Capital Pty Limited (VEC). On April 21, 2010, the Company sold 49% interest in the 30 mega watts Ardrossan wind farm. In February 2011, the Company completed the sale of its US landfill gas to energy business to Montauk Energy.

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 30 June 2010, Viridis CleanEnergy Group's revenues decreased 22% to A$53.3M. Net loss from continuing operations totaled A$54.8M, up from A$22.1M. Revenues reflect a decrease in income from UK market, a fall in income from Texas and California market. Net loss reflects an increase in fund expense, presence of foreign exchange loss vs. a gain and a rise in impairment expense.
