In October 2011, the Company acquired WPG Resources Limited's subsidiary companies that own iron ore assets in northern South Australia.

BRIEF: For the six months ended 31 December 2011, OneSteel Limited's revenues increased 15% to A$3.73B. Net income decreased 54% to A$6.8M. Revenues reflect an increase in income from product sales, higher rendering of services and an increase in other income. Net income was offset by a increase in distribution expenses, higher finance costs, lower gross profit margin and an increase in administration expenses.
