It operates in six segments: Toll Global Resources, which provides logistics services to mining and resource sector together with project based activities; Toll Global Logistics, provides integrated logistics services and supply chain management to national and multi-national customers; Toll Global Forwarding, which is engaged in provision of global freight forwarding services by air, sea and land; Toll Global Express, engaged in provision of express and overnight parcel services; Toll Domestic Forwarding, which offers intermodal freight forwarding services within Australia and New Zealand by road, rail and sea, and Toll Specialized and Domestic Freight, which provides full container load and less than container load forwarding services. In February 2010, it acquired Summit Logistics International. On November 23, 2011, it announced that National Australia Bank Limited ceased to be a substantial holder in the Company.

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 30 June 2011, Toll Holdings Limited's revenues increased 18% to A$8.26B. Net income from continuing operations increased 1% to A$281.4M. Revenues reflect an increase in income from toll global express and higher income from toll global forwarding segment respectively. Net income was partially offset by an decrease in finance income, increase in other operating costs and higher repairs & maintenance costs.
