  1. Can I trial d2mxIRESS?

    Yes you can! A 30-day free trial is available here.


  2. Why can I access d2mxIRESS from one computer but not another?

    If you are unable to login from work, for example, this may be because it has a secure internal network called a "firewall". A firewall keeps a network secure but it can also prevent you from accessing certain information because it does not allow for secure web sessions. You will need to see your Network Administrator. Also check that you have cleared your cache.


  3. I can’t access the D2MX Trade Tools

    Ensure you have downloaded and installed the d2mxIRESS application.

    If you are getting an error page when trying to access the D2MX Trade Tools within the d2mxIRESS software, it is most likely because you logged in via a website.

    Unlike the rest of d2mxIRESS, the D2MX Trade Tools are not internet-accessible, so you must open the platform from the PC you installed the software on.

    Tip: look for d2mxIRESS in your Windows Start menu, or for the d2mxIRESS icon on your desktop.

    Comprehensive Help guides and tutorials are available within the d2mxIRESS platform. Just select the Help menu located at the top of the screen.

  6. System Requirements

    The IRESS Trader component of the d2mxIRESS system is accessible from any web-enabled browser.

    However to access the features in the D2MX Trade Tools plugin you need to install the full d2mxIRESS platform on your PC.

    The following system requirements are recommended:

    Machine The application requires a Pentium3 500MHZ class machine with a minimum of 256MB RAM.
    Operating System and Browser

    The application runs on any Microsoft Windows operating system that supports the following browsers with Java enabled:

    • Internet Explorer 7.0 or above.
    • Mozilla/Firefox 3.0 or above.
    • Chrome 7.0 or above.

    Mac users will need to use Windows emulation software, contact our Customer Care team for further details.

    Java Virtual Machine The minimum required Sun Java version is 1.6.0_10 or above.
    Monitor

    The minimum monitor supported is a 15" colour monitor, however a 17" monitor is recommended.

    Resolution of greater than 1024 X 768 is required.

    Network Connection A network connection quality of a 56k modem or above is required. Broadband is highly recommended.
