Trade Online with Trader Dealer

  1. How do I get access to Rapid Trader?

    You need a username and password to log in to the Rapid Trader platform. Trader Dealer customers should call us on 1300 853 856 and we'll arrange a login for you.

    Once you have a valid username and password, you can login to Rapid Trader from the Trader Dealer website.

  3. How do I place a trade?

    Select the account you wish to trade through using the Account drop down list, located at the top of the Rapid Trader window.

    To access the order pad, click on the Buy and Sell buttons displayed next to the symbol you want to trade.

  4. What instruments can I trade using Rapid Trader?

    You can trade ASX equities through Rapid Trader. In future releases we will be adding facilities to trade other instrument types as well.

  5. What is 'One Click' and 'Two Click' trading?

    Rapid Trader's One Click trading mode allows you to submit your order without needing to click on a confirmation screen. This is a valuable time saver for busy traders.

    In Two Click trading mode, a confirmation screen will pop up before your order is sent to the market.

    By default, Rapid Trader is set to Two Click trading mode, but you can choose which mode you prefer in the Settings screen.

  6. How do I find out about the status of my order?

    Your current orders and recent trades are stored in the Portfolio screen.

  7. Can I use Rapid Trader on multiple computers?

    Yes, you can access Rapid Trader from any internet-enabled computer. However, you can't login on more than one computer at a time.

  8. What are the system requirements for running Rapid Trader?

    All you need is a web browser (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox) and an active internet connection. Check the Rapid Trader page for more details.

    We recommend the following browser versions:

    • Internet Explorer 8+ - Firefox 3+ - Safari 5+ - Google Chrome 1+
